Program Structure
The Medical Doctor (MD) program is built on an Integrated Medical Curriculum that puts students at the center of their learning journey. Designed in line with international standards, it follows the ECTS credit system and ensures that every step of your study is closely connected to real medical practice. The program carries a total of 360 ECTS credits, with 60 credits each year, making it a comprehensive six-year program.
Each academic year is divided into two semesters: Fall and Spring. The structure is carefully designed to help students gradually build knowledge and skills, integrating theory with clinical practice from the very beginning. This approach prepares future doctors not just to master medical science, but also to apply it confidently in real-world settings.
The aim of the program is to prepare medical doctors who are not only highly qualified and competitive in both local and international markets, but also morally grounded and committed to values of humanity. In line with the standards of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), the program fosters the development of essential clinical skills, professional competencies, and independent thinking, while also instilling the motivation for lifelong learning and post-diploma education.
